Birdies For The Brave is a nationwide program launched by the U.S. Department of Defense that recognizes citizen's support for military men and women and communicates that support to members of our Armed Forces at home and abroad. 

Each year, proceeds raised from the Birdies For The Brave Golf Tournament go to help numerous homefront groups, directly benefiting the men and women in uniform and their families:

• Home For Our Troops
• Special Operations Warrior Foundation
• Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
• Naval Special Warfare Foundation
• Wounded Warrior Project
• Operation Homefront

This year, the golf tournament will be held on September 22nd, 2008 with a reception for players the night before at Weston Hills Country Club. The tournament format will be a Four-Man Scramble.
